Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this position will have high visibility to members of the senior management team. Responsibilities will include:
• Contributing to the monthly close and consolidation process of domestic and international operations.
• Preparing monthly financial statements and various related financial analysis.
• Supervising, coaching and mentoring accounting staff.
• Supporting the external and internal audit processes
• Research and analyze general ledger accounts and accounting policies for conformity to GAAP.
• Preparing analyses related to key accounting areas
• Acting as the point person for all consolidation matters related to German subsidiaries.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 3 + years accounting/financial analysis work experience required.
• Thorough working knowledge of GAAP required.
• Sharp investigative accounting skills required.
• Proficiency in PCs, and Microsoft excel required. SAP preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Capability to interface with all levels of personnel required
