As an Information Designer you will:
- Design and maintain highly appealing and readable web pages/site layouts/collateral/ graphic design elements.
- Meet regularly with internal clients to understand their marketing objectives and targets.
- Design graphics that convey each project's desired corporate/brand identity and marketing strategy.
- Build prototype graphic elements of new or enhanced web sites/paper materials.
- Present story boards and participate in peer design reviews.
- Convert materials to online-compatible formats and check PDFs.
- Follow design standards, including style guides, templates, style sheets, file backup systems, and file-naming conventions.
- Follow regulatory and Corporate Communications standards, such as legal use of corporate logo, name, and copyright.
- Comply with IT policies and procedures and Information Security protocols.

Position Qualifications:

- Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience
- Three to five years of experience, including three years of design, graphic design or user interface design experience. Corporate or agency design experience preferred.
- Knowledge of creating audio/video presentations for website broadcast.
- Working knowledge of Flash design and development.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry highly desirable.
- Intermediate knowledge of abstract conceptualization and visualization; user-centered design; color; typography; print design considerations.
- Intermediate knowledge of one or more IT platforms, including Macintosh, Microsoft Windows NT and Web.
- Intermediate knowledge of current versions of Adobe Photoshop, HTML/DHTML, Java Script and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Intermediate knowledge of current versions of Lotus Notes and Macromedia Dreamweaver preferred.
