As an interactive designer, you will:

- Conceptualize, present and execute high-quality and effective multimedia design solutions, including audio, video, animation, and interactivity, that enhance our clients' web experience.
- Collaborate with creative, business, marketing, content development and compliance teams to produce strategically targeted and integrated digital media that translates business needs and captures the desired brand and market positioning.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and produce assignments with speed, accuracy and on budget.
- Lend expertise to design, code and test inspections throughout production.
- Serve as design technical lead, providing consultative services related to multimedia web enhancements. Stay current on innovations and share best practices with the team.
- Follow web graphic design standards, including style guides, templates, style sheets, file archiving processes, and file naming conventions.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and regularly update manager with project status and technical concerns.
- Help to train and mentor new or temporary staff on multimedia design techniques.

Position Qualifications:

- Undergraduate degree in graphic design or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum of three years of graphic design or user interface experience; Web, corporate or agency design experience preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Flash design, development and applications including timeline and programmatic animation, Actionscript programming and encoding audio and video.
- Advanced experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, HTML/DHTML, and Java Script.
- Strong in abstract conceptualization and visualization, user-centered design and use of color and typography.
- Strong knowledge of one or more IT platforms, including Macintosh, Microsoft Windows and Web.
- Intermediate knowledge of Lotus Notes, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Microsoft Office.
- Experience with digitizing and editing audio and video a plus.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry a plus.
- Ability to take art direction.
- Strong communication, organization and project-management skills.
