The successful candidate will facilitate the recruiting, interviewing and hiring process for assigned QVC departments. This includes sourcing, screening and interviewing potential candidates; interacting with hiring managers regarding all openings and qualified candidates; negotiating salaries and extending job offers to internal and external candidates; and providing guidance and direction to assigned hiring managers on recruiting issues to insure the consistent application of policies in compliance with legal requirements and QVC practice.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication or related discipline.
3-5+ years of corporate recruitment experience, owning the relationship with the candidates and hiring team.
Experience working in theRetailindustry is strongly preferred.
HR certification (PHR, AIRS, CIR, etc.) is a plus.
Past experience working with formal applicant tracking systems (e.g. Peopleclick).
Proven ability to creatively source candidates via different methods including, but not limited to: internet sourcing/mining, vendor management, networking.
Significant experience identifying, screening, interviewing and closing candidates.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications as well as internet savvy (including web 2.0).
Superior customer service and telephone skills.
Working knowledge of employment laws is preferred.
Must possess strong organizational, multi-tasking, communication and computer skills, along with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
