The Email Marketing Manager oversees the design, creation, development, scheduling, management and coordination of all promotional email campaigns. He / she researches and evaluates the feasibility of proposed new outbound email campaigns which encompasses audience segmentation, product selection and availability, concept and content development, legal approvals and quality assurance. This individual is responsible for ensuring that campaigns meet budgeted sales and profit objectives which is achieved by communicating with a variety of QVC departments and external partners, as well as understanding the science of direct response, email and relationship marketing on the internet. The Email Marketing Manager also manages and develops a staff and holds budget accountability.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent business experience. Masters Degree a plus.
• 8 years related experience, including hands-on direct response marketing with an emphasis on email campaigns and internet commerce.
• Experience with internet promotions in a self-directed environment is required.
• Minimum 3 years successfully managing projects and/or staff is required. Demonstrated ability to manage staff and delegate responsibilities necessary.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and email systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.
